Extended Memory reads every document, receipt and note you keep — so instead of hunting through folders, you ask a question in your own words and get the answer, with the page it came from.

What it does
Capture it once. Find it years later.
Documents
Scan a receipt, a lease, a passport. Multi-page scans become one PDF, sized to the page rather than letterboxed onto A4.
Notes and to-dos
Type or dictate. A to-do carries a due date and ticks off from the grid without opening it.
Email it in
Forward anything to your own address. The message becomes a note and its attachments become documents, linked to each other.
Filed for you
Tagged and read on arrival, using a vocabulary you control. Renewal and expiry dates are noticed before they pass.
Signed and sent
Sign a PDF with a signature drawn once and kept on the phone. Export any slice of the library as a zip.
Asking
You do not have to remember where it is.
Every document is read, every scan transcribed, every note indexed. A question finds the thing whether or not you can recall the day, the folder, or the word you filed it under — and the answer arrives with the page it was taken from.
It reads the whole page
Printed text, handwriting, a photographed router card, the small print on page four of a policy. If it is in your library, it is answerable.
It shows its work
Every answer lists the documents it came out of, and each one opens. You check the invoice rather than take the app's word for the number on it.
In your words, out loud
Ask the way you would ask a person — no filters, no field names, no folder to open first. Speak it if your hands are full, in any of eight languages.
Household
One library, the people who share it.
Invite the people you actually keep things with. Everyone adds to the same library, and everyone can ask it questions — so the answer does not depend on which of you happened to file the thing.
You decide what each person may do, per kind of thing: who can add, who can edit, who can delete. Changed at any time, not just at the invitation.
Privacy
Your library is yours.
Locked to your face
The app can ask for Face ID or a fingerprint before it opens, so a borrowed phone is not an open filing cabinet.
Take it with you
Export the whole library, or any slice of it, as a zip of your files plus everything derived from them in plain text and JSON.
Delete means delete
Emptying the trash removes the file and everything read out of it, on every device in the household.

Three plans, and none of them says unlimited.
Storage counts documents only. Notes, to-dos and saved links never count against a plan on any tier, including the free one — they cost us nothing to keep, so they cost you nothing.
Every plan asks the same assistant. The free one is not a smaller, vaguer version that gets it wrong until you pay — it reads the same way across the same library. What a plan buys is how many questions.

Questions
What does it cost?
The free plan is free, and it is a real one: 1 GB of documents, 30 questions a month, and unlimited notes, to-dos and links. Prices for Plus and Household are not settled yet — what each plan holds is on the cards above, and the numbers will be here before either goes on sale.
What sort of questions actually work?
The ones you would ask a person who had read everything: what something cost, when it expires, what a policy covers, how much you have spent on a thing this year, what the code on that card was. Answers are drawn only from your own library — if the receipt is not there, it says so rather than inventing a number.
What counts as a question, and what happens when I run out?
One question is one thing you ask; a follow-up in the same conversation is another. They reset on the first of each month, and one that fails to answer is not counted against you. When a month runs out nothing is locked — the library, search and everything you have saved carry on exactly as before, and you can either upgrade or pick it up next month.
Is the free assistant a worse one?
No. Every plan asks the same model over the same amount of your library with the same room to answer. A free question and a paid question are the same question.
Is a person reading my documents?
No. A document is read by machine when it arrives — text, dates, amounts — and that reading is what makes it findable. It is used to answer your questions and nothing else: not to train anything, not to sell anything, not shown to anyone outside your household.
Does it work offline?
Capturing does. Everything you add is written to the phone first and syncs when there is a connection — you never wait on a network to scan something.
What happens to a document after I scan it?
It is read for text, dates and amounts, and indexed so it can be found by asking. What that produces is used for searching and answering, and is not pasted back over the page.
Which languages?
The app is in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Chinese. Answers and descriptions can be written in a language you pick for the whole household.
